Pressure washing and power washing are the preferred methods of most contractor cleaners. We at Under Pressure utilize this method quite often, however we have found over the years that it is not always what is best for our customers. Pressure washing and power washing can, and will damage soft surfaces such as wood, paint, vinyl and shingles if not performed correctly. On the other hand, soft washing is gentle and non abrasive. It can also be highly effective. We use a custom made soft washing system comprised of cleaning solution tanks and "low pressure" pumps to clean and rinse at minimal pressures. There are no pressure washers used in our soft washing systems. Our cleaning solutions are comprised of mildew-cides, algae-cides, soaps, & surfactants. These solutions are mixed on-site and to the specific needs of the surface to be cleaned. First, the solutions are applied thoroughly to the surfaces targeted.
